With a large workshop of experienced craftsmen specialising in the restoration and
individual setting-up of violins, violas and 'cellos, we are normally able to
maintain a good selection – of at least six or seven instruments – in any given
price range. |
These include Italian masters such as Domenico Montegnana and Giovani Pressenda,
Stefano Scarampella, Guiseppe Peddrazzini and members of the Bisiach family, French
icons such as J. B. Vuillaume and English work rapidly rising in international
appreciation such as that of John Lott, Henry Lockey Hill and the W. E.
Hill & Sons Workshop.. |
Examples of the following makers are currently available at Ealing Strings. These are listed below according to country of origin and period. |
There are some makers – who we ourselves actively seek out – where we often have
more than one example available in stock and intend to keep violins by these makers
permanently available for players to try. |
